Just outside Paris, Sèvres - City of Ceramics is a place of jubilation for all the curious lovers of art and culture for the diversity of events held there.
It brings together outstanding collections of ceramics (pottery, earthenware, stoneware, porcelain etc.) from around the world and from all periods, as well as a production site of porcelain unique in the world, a Factory in operation since the eighteenth century.
Ceramics, noble and durable material, is offered here in all its forms: modest or monumental sculptures, tableware, decorative objects, art, design and so on. Open to all, workshop visits and conferences are offered throughout the year.
Open every day between 10 am and 6 pm. Except on Tuesday. Closed exceptionally on January 1st, May 1st and December 25th. Evacuation of the rooms takes place 1/4 hour before closing time.
On 24 and 31 December, the museum closes at 4pm.
Visits to the Sèvres Showroom by appointment.
