Take a trip to the heart of Japanese culture.
A few steps from the Eiffel Tower, Japanese culture has found it’s home. Inaugurated in 1997, the Japanese cultural House is an elegant jewel of contemporary architecture built of glass and steel. In this enormous glass space, the temporary exhibitions are constant but never similar : art, painting, design and decoration are some of the themes treated with originality.
Cinema, dance, traditional theatre as well as contemporary theatre are also on the program. If you have a little time to kill, sign up for one of the workshops : calligraphy, flower arranging, origami… you can even participate in a Japanese cooking demonstration. Japanese culture opens up to the public… and don’t forget to go by the traditional pavilion for a delicious cup of tea.
