0:00 am : Guided visit of the Musée Marmottan-Monetwhich hosts the work which gave its name to impressionism, the emblematic Impression, Sunrise. In the setting of the collector's splendid private mansion, which is still richly furnished, you will discover the first collection of the works of Claude Monet in the world: his landscapes of Normandy, Italy, England or Norway and an incomparable succession of Nymphéas (Water Lilies). The collection also presents numerous masterpieces by Berthe Morisot, Corot, Manet, Caillebotte, Pissarro, Renoir or even Gauguin. A fine collection of furniture, paintings, and objets d’art of the period complete the discovery of this exceptional residence.
