For anyone who wants to see Paris through the eyes of an artist! Our art expert guide will accompany you and give advice on creating your own personal postcard of Paris.
From the Waticar/Touring France office, with your guide, you will head out to find the best place to paint a watercolour of the Eiffel Tower. Depending on the weather, the workshop will take place outside or in a café (in which case, you will use different materials for your visual medium, such as photos, postcards and drawings).
The guide will provide everything you need to create your own postcard – pencils, paints and paper.
For three hours your guide will help you to produce your first Parisian watercolour – an everlasting souvenir of a memorable place. It is unlikely that your first picture will be a masterpiece, but it could be the start of a new way of travelling – learning how to slow down and take in your surroundings properly.
Bring a little cash to spend in the café in case it rains and enough to cover entry to a museum in case there is a drawing session inside. The workshop is available in English and open to all. You do not need to know how to draw. The aim is to improve and sharpen your eye, to explore and use your creativity to the full, and to enjoy yourself!
Good walking shoes and warm clothing are recommended.
Length of tour: 3 hours
The tour is not available all over the year : for more informations, please contact the agency.
