Discover "Impressionist Vision" the new immersive project at the château d'Auvers-sur-Oise
Listed on the additional inventory of the historical monuments since 1997, the Château d’Auvers-sur-Oise, property of Val d’Oise department, spread across eight hectares in the heart of the village.
An immersive scenography untitled « Vision Impressionniste », Impressionist vision, relates the history of Impressionism. The exhibition shows what inspired the Impressionism, and also focuses on its influences on the later artistic movements. It is a new perspective on the impressionist legacy, on the artists’ work and on the particular place of Auvers-sur-Oise.

For a really spectacular, unforgettable visit.
For the first time, four rooms display the painting and litography collection of the Val d’Oise department. The aim is to show how the artists such as Charles-François Daubigny, Camille Pissarro or Louis Hayet depicted the valley of the Oise territory in their works. It is a great opportunity to admire major paintings (from Gustave Caillebotte, Claude Monet...).

Every day throughout the year between 10 am and 5 pm.
Closed on Monday.
