A one-day tour at Fontainebleau

Morning: audio tour of the Grands Appartements of the Château de Fontainebleau and discovery of the Papal apartment, the Renaissance rooms, the sovereign Grands Appartements and Napoleon I’s inner apartment. Lunch in a restaurant in Fontainebleau town centre.

Afternoon: guided tour of the Musée Napoléon 1er where you will see furniture, art objects, paintings, sculptures, goldsmithery, weapons, costumes, ceramics, historical documents and memorabilia that belonged to the imperial family. This museum, in the former royal apartments of the Château de Fontainebleau, presents an evocation of Emperor Napoleon and his sovereign relations in Europe from 1804 to 1815.
