In the heart of a contemporary building, ARCHÉA invites people to discover our country through fascinating archaeological findings uncovered over the last forty years.
Nearly 750 objects, from prehistory to modern times, from 87 archaeological sites, are presented in a lively and interactive permanent exhibition.
Video terminals, digital projections, reconstructions, objects to handle and scale models to help you better understand this rich history.
ARCHÉA also provides a way to understand the day-to-day work of archaeologists through presentations, practical workshops, shows and archaeological site visits organised throughout the year, as well as two temporary exhibitions per year.
Every day throughout the year Opening hours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 1.30 pm and 6 pm. On Saturday and Sunday between 11 am and 6 pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Closed exceptionally on January 1st, May 1st and December 25th.

A magnetic loop available at reception, subtitling of all videos, a multimedia guide and an app to visit the entire permanent exhibition in French sign language, and the possibility of having a guide in LSF for group visits and workshops within a month if necessary.
