The 3 Ducks is in an old, 18th century coaching inn, a listed monument protected by the Bâtiments de France. Founded in 1987, the 3 Ducks is the oldest private hostel in France. For nearly 30 years, it has provided a service to millions of travellers from all over the world, with a solid international reputation for its atmosphere and friendly welcome.

3 ducks is housed in a former 18th century coaching inn considered to be a historical monument and is protected by Les Batiments de France as such. Founded in 1987, the 3 ducks is the oldest private hostel in France. These almost 30 years serving millions of travellers around the world have earned the 3 ducks its international reputation for its lively and friendly atmosphere.
In April 2014, after two years of extensive work The 3 ducks has been rebuilt.
Thanks to the restoration of the external facade under the direction of the Vieux Paris building commission, and a complete renovation of the interior in collaboration with a renowned French architect and two graphic artists, the result is spectacular.
Today the 3 ducks today offers all amenities a traveller could expect including rooms with shower and toilet , hairdryer, wifi , safe, reading lamp with USB ports, and air conditioning, all in a uniquely decorated environment.
With its magnificent outside terrace and exclusive services the 3 ducks hostel is likely the most comfortable and well designed hostel in Paris.
As the Three Ducks has a licensed bar, the hostel is not accepting young's under 16 years old unless a direct agreement with the hostel management.

When you walk out from ‘Commerce’ station, take the exit ‘rue du Commerce’. Turn right on rue du Commerce in direction of the church, the 3 ducks is on the right hand side of the church ‘St Jean Baptiste de Grenelle’.
If you exit at the station ‘Félix Faure’ take the exit ‘Place Étienne Pernet’ .You'll find yourself at the back of the Place Étienne Pernet, so go along that church on the left side, the 3 ducks is just there.
-From Gare du Nord & Gare de l'Est :
Take line 5 towards ‘Place d'Italie’ till the station ‘République’ and change towards direction of ‘Balard’ line 8 and stop at the station ‘Commerce’ or ‘Félix Faue’.
-From Gare d'Austerlitz
Take direction of ‘Boulogne’ line 10 et get off the station ‘Émile Zola’, exit ‘rue du Commerce’ .Turn right on rue du Commerce in direction of the church. The 3 Ducks Hostel is on the right hand side of the church 'St Jean Baptiste de Grenelle' .
-From Gare Montparnasse & Gare de Bercy
Take line 6, direction ‘Charles de Gaulle Etoile’ till ‘La Motte-Piquet Grenelle’ then change for line 8 in ‘Balard’ direction and get off at ‘Commerce’ or ‘Félix Faure’.

-From ‘Beauvais’:
Take the shuttle bus for Paris 'Porte Maillot' than take the métro ligne 1, direction ‘Château de Vincennes’, then change at ‘Concorde’ for line 8 direction ‘Balard’ and get off at ‘Commerce’ or ‘Félix Faure’.
-From Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
Take the RER direction Paris till ‘Gare du Nord’, then follow direction below (From Gare du Nord).
