Located in the heart of the former Athletes’ Village for the Paris 2024 Games, the Cité du Cinéma in Saint-Denis was inaugurated in September 2026. With 12,000 m² of modular spaces, this new cultural and event hub in Paris and its region is aimed at tourism professionals and organisers of congresses, conventions, seminars and corporate events.

Description

Spaces for different event formats

At the heart of the venue, the Nef offers 1,630 m² of space and can accommodate up to 2,300 people in a cocktail configuration. Les Verrières, with a surface area of 1,250 m², can host up to 1,600 people for cocktails, while the cinema-auditorium has 437 seats. Several meeting rooms and a Club complete the offering for seminars, meetings and professional events.

The spaces can be hired in their entirety, separately or in combination. The venue can accommodate different formats, from study days to conventions, congresses, conferences, screenings, cocktails, gala dinners, trade shows or private events.

For Seminars and Conventions, a wide range of cinema-themed team-building activities complements the event offering.

A strategic location

Located 7 km from Place de la Concorde, the Cité du Cinéma is accessible via metro line 14, through the strategic Saint-Denis-Pleyel station, designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and recognised as one of the world’s seven most remarkable stations. This station is at the heart of the future Grand Paris Express connections.

Approximately 1,500 rooms are also available within a 1.8 km radius, facilitating the organisation of stays and events.

Operated by Seine & Watts, the Cité du Cinéma is part of a network of cultural and event venues that also includes the Théâtre Juliette Récamier in Paris, which notably hosts seminars, conferences, training sessions and professional meetings.

For operators looking to develop programmes around the theme of cinema, we offer film tourism itineraries based on the most iconic films and series: from Emily in Paris to the mysteries of Arsène Lupin.
