With 16.4 million hotel arrivals over the course of the 1^st semester of 2017, visitor numbers for the Paris Ile-de-France destination are growing strongly, up 10.2% compared to the same period in 2016, thanks to the steep rise in international visitors (+14.9%).

In 2016, the WTM brought together 5,000 exhibitors from 186 countries, 32,000 visitors (up on 2015), 9,714 members of the WTM Buyers Club (a club comprised of the main decision makers, known as « seniors », who are directly responsible for purchasing), nearly £2.5 billion worth of business was carried out thanks to the show.

The Paris Region will be well represented at , the leading « multi-market » international travel trade show for BtoB, which will be held in London on 6^th to 8^th November.

Museums and monuments, activities, theme parks, shopping, river cruises, incoming agencies, accommodation providers, transport, cabarets, tourist offices… 40 companies will be in attendance at the Paris Region zone for a series of sales meetings with buyers from across the globe in an atmosphere that will be sporty and lively!
