Along the Seine, the Bougival Tourist Office organises various excursions on themes such as Impressionism or Russia in the Yvelines. Some of them are exclusively offered to groups.

GUIDED TOURS OF BOUGIVAL'S CULTURAL HERITAGE

The impressionists walking tour from Bougival down the Seine where 12 reproductions of paintings on enamel plaques have been strategically placed at the very spot where they were created.

During the nineteenth century, Impressionist painters and other landscape artists established themselves at Bougival so as to be able to capture the tonalities of its landscapes which they were so capable of bringing to life.

This tour will enable you to discover the fascinating setting which seduced so many plein-air painters.

The “Nautic Park” on the Island of La Chaussée will allow you to experience "impressionist" emotions aboard a Zodiac, a place that was so in fashion during the Belle Epoque.

Opening and closing times

Every day throughout the year Opening hours on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10 am and 1 pm and between 2 pm and 5 pm. On Wednesday between 2 pm and 5 pm. Closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday. Closed exceptionally on January 1st, Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
