The Paris Region Tourist Board is organising its 8th PARIS REGION Showcase, the event dedicated to the market and to the promotion of the Paris Region offer for international groups.

30 international professionals based in London and Paris specialising in leisure groups will be present at this event. They will follow a programme of visits and experiences adapted to groups and will take part in a reverse workshop to meet professionals from the Paris region.

The international leisure group market has been heavily impacted by the global pandemic that has brought the world economy to a standstill, including all sectors of the tourism industry. The "Showcase" and its reverse workshop formula are positioned as a key BtoB event to anticipate and support the recovery of this strategic segment.

In 2019, groups represented more than 15% of the volume of international clients in the capital region, i.e. nearly 3.4 million stays!


The format of the operation: Reverse workshop

Tour operators are exhibitors and receive professionals during non-pre-scheduled commercial meetings

Objectives for you, the Paris Region professional exhibitors :

  • Establish and strengthen your commercial links with qualified buyers and prescribers, existing and new clients with plans for 2022.
  • Present your offer and your group products adapted to the new health situation
  • Generate sales of servicesNumber of participants expected: 35

    Number of prescribers expected: 30 leisure group specialists (Tos, Tos on line, coach operators...)

    These tour operators are based in the UK or Paris and may be subsidiaries of companies based internationally, e.g. Miki Travel, Flight Center, Railbookers. They organise trips for British and international groups from the Asian and North American markets.

    As the number of places is limited, the Parus Region Touruste Board will get back to you before the week of 7 May 2021 to inform you of the final decision regarding your application.
