The Paris Region Tourist Board has actively participated in this project by supporting the Zoological Park of Paris in assembling a case to obtain support from the Regional Tourism Development Fund to the amount of 1.23 million euros, focused on the quality of the reception in particular reception of the public with disabilities. The teams from the Quality/Accessibility centre of the CRT monitored the facilities throughout the site to ensure optimum accessibility of the site for visitors with disabilities. Funding of Regional Tourist Development Fund has helped to facilitate access and guidance of the general public and improve the facilities but also the range of services offered to visitors.
