Let yourself be dazzled by the 1113 stained glass windows in this jewel of the radiant gothic style.

Designed as a monumental reliquary, Sainte Chapelle housed the Crown of In the middle of the 13th century, Louis IX had the Sainte-Chapelle built in the heart of his Parisian residence, the Palais de la Cité. Designed as a monumental reliquary, it housed Christ's Crown of Thorns. Adorned with a unique set of fifteen stained glass windows and a rose that form veritable walls of light, the Sainte-Chapelle is the jewel of French radiant Gothic.

Opening and closing times

From 01/04 to 30/09, daily between 9 am and 7 pm. Closed exceptionally on May 1st. Last entrance : 40 minutes before closing time.

From 01/10 to 31/03, daily between 9 am and 5 pm. Closed exceptionally on January 1st and December 25th. Laste entrance : 30 minutes before closing time.

Free entry for children < 26 years, Job-seeker, disabled people and accompanying persons.
Group rate available for > 20 people.

Free admission :
-For all, the first sunday of the month between November and March included
18-25 years old (for people under 26 years old who are citizens of one the 27 countries of EU or are non-European permanent residents of France).
