REOPENING IN 2022 - The Auberge Ravoux, also known as the House of Van Gogh, in Auvers-sur-Oise is an exceptional memorial site made famous by Vincent van Gogh who stayed here for 70 days and died here in July 1890.
Room no. 5, rented by the artist during his stay, has been preserved since 1890 and offers a unique opportunity to experience the painter's world. Be engulfed by the intense emotion that radiates from this enclave of silence with its simplicity and rawness.
The Auberge Ravoux has been a wine merchants and restaurant since 1876 and has maintained its artists' café atmosphere.
The food served is in the spirit of late 19th-century inns – authentic and created from fresh ingredients. The house specialities include duck pate with pistachios, slow-cooked leg of lamb and chocolate mousse with zabaglione.Auberge Ravoux has received a red fork in the Michelin guide for several years.
