(Exhibition postponed - September 2021) - After the exhibition "Icons of Modern Art. The Shchukin Collection" in 2016/2017, the Louis Vuitton Foundation is presenting another major historical exhibition devoted to the great Russian collectors of the early 20th century.
Spread over 5 months in all the Foundation's galleries, the exhibition presents masterpieces from one of the most famous collections of French modern art (Matisse, Bonnard, Picasso, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Degas, Monet, Renoir, Maurice Denis, Cézanne, etc.). ...) and Russian (Vroubel, Chagall, Malevitch, Repine, Larionov, Serov ...) brought together by the great Moscow patrons and collectors of the early 20th century, the brothers Mikhail Abramovitch Morozov (1870-1903) and Ivan Abramovitch Morozov (1871-1921).
This collection had never before been shown outside Russia.
In collaboration with the Russian museums Hermitage Museum, State Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and Tretyakov Gallery.
From 22/09/2021 to 22/02/2022, daily between 10 am and 8 pm.
