The Paris Region Tourist Board in pole position at the Paris Motor Show

Every two years, the exhibition centre at the Porte de Versailles hosts the largest motor show in the world.

During this event, 1.2 million visitors crowd through its doors to discover the cars of the future presented by the many manufacturers who attend. In addition to this giant car showroom, there was also entertainment on offer.

Within the framework of the Tourism Conference, the head of the motor show, Thierry Hesse, gave the Paris Region Tourist Board the opportunity to welcome visitors on trade days. On 2 and 3 October, the Paris Region Tourist Board ran a strategically-located TOURIST INFORMATION stand on media and trade days, offering help and advice and selling tourist products.

Our presence allowed us to further improve the quality of the hospitality at one of our destination's most prestigious trade fairs. As he prepares to leave the Paris Motor Show, the Paris Region Tourist Board would like to thank Thierry Hesse and congratulate him on his professionalism, dynamism and directness, which have been an asset to our industry. During the show, the tourist information points located in Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly airports were decked out in Motor Show colours, so we could highlight the importance of this event to our visitors.
