STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP BY THE CRT AIMED AT THE COACH AND GROUP MARKETS IN GERMANY
With several hundred German speaking coach clients purchasing the products and programmes offered by its sales teams, Touren Service Schweda are responsible for 1800 groups per year in France, with 400 alone visiting the capital’s region.
This partnership involves several different promotion and communication elements that target the groups market. Firstly, this involved the creation of a « Paris Region 2017 » brochure with 13 circuits throughout Ile-de-France.
With a print run of 8,000, this was distributed initially at the Workshop France organised by Atout France that took place in Frankfurt on 10th June of this year.
At the RDA Workshop on 5th to 7th July of this year, a Paris Ile-de-France zone was specially created in this tour operator’s area. Five Paris Region partners were there alongside the CRT to promote the destination: Fontainebleau Tourist Office, Auvers-sur-Oise Tourist Office, Rueil-Malmaison Tourist Office, the Paradis Latin and the Château de Vaux le Vicomte. They were all aiming to present coach circuits based around Impressionism, the Châteaux of the Paris area and the Cabarets to a public of coach travel professionals.
The RDA Workshop is one of the most important trade fairs for coach travel in Europe, with 1,100 exhibitors and around 10,000 professional visitors.
