Paris Region at the RDA Trade show in Cologne – from 3rd to 5th July
As part of this partnership, the Paris Region Tourist Board this year opened a co-working space for the the Paris Region partners on the Touren Service Schweda stand at the RDA Workshop trade show in Cologne.
The RDA Workshop trade show is one of Europe's leading coach tourism exhibitions with 1,100 exhibitors and around 6,000 professional visitors.
For 2 days, the partners benefited from strong commercial relations with Touren Service Schweda and met the biggest tour operators in the German market. Goals: To prospect and retain German customers.
12 Paris Region partners participated in this operation: Bateaux Parisiens, Château de Vaux le Vicomte, FIAP Paris, La Bonne Franquette, Les Vedettes de Paris, Observatoire Panoramique de la Tour Montparnasse, Office de Tourisme Saint Germain Boucles de Seine, One Nation Paris Outlet, Paradis Latin, Reside Etudes Apparthotels, Rex Studios, Sycomore.
Highlights of the operation:
- Promoting the offer of upstream and post-trade partners via emailing the target groups of the German market
Highlighting the partners' offer in the Paris Region 2018 catalogue of Touren Service Schweda.
The 16-page catalogue, presenting nearly 10 circuits in Paris Region, was distributed to 8,000 Touren clients and prospects. 8,000 copies of the paper version were included in the specialist magazine OmnibusRevue and disseminated at the RDA Workshop trade show. Touren Service Schweda will continue to promote the circuits at the next trade shows which will be attended by: BTB at Munich (29th August), BTB at Vienna in Austria (7th-8th November) and at the VPR Workshop in Hamburg next November.
- Cocktail networking in partnership with La Bonne Franquette which brought together specialist press and clients of Touren Service Schweda at its stand on the first day of the trade show.
- Evening of the RDA/VPR associations, bringing together more than 50 travel companies in Germany which was held at the Flora & Botanical Garden in Cologne with more than 1,000 people.
