A listed monument, the Saint-Pierre Saint-Paul Church houses the tomb of Joséphine, celebrated with a magnificent statue of the Empress sculpted by Cartellier.

Her daughter, Queen Hortense (mother of Napoleon III) lies in the superb small crypt under the church’s nave, decorated with many imperial symbols.
Made of Carrara marble, Joséphine’s tomb was finished in 1825.
In the church, visitors can admire the superb organ gifted by Napoleon III and created by Bacchio d’Agniolo.
