Today, a permanent exhibition in the six rooms of the tower (now listed as a Historic Monument) portrays the history of early-15th-century society and architecture.
When visitors get to the top of the grand staircase, they see a beautiful plant-sculpted vault. In one of the upper rooms, reconstructions (stained-glass windows, furniture, latrines) recall the comfort and decoration found in a royal residence. Temporary exhibitions give visitors an idea of everyday life in the Middle Ages.
